CRIB is a series that documents those who
still live in their childhood homes, holding the memories of their upbringing. Some of these homes go as far as to have held multiple generations of family lines. As I continue to capture portraits and highlight stories, the series grows with the subjects, some of whom have moved out of their home since the start of the series.
Displacement and gentrification have become reoccurring topics and slowly CRIB is becoming less of a personal way for me to connect to my past through others and more of a record of a culture, energy, and community that will soon cease to exist.
