Sometimes I wonder about the theory of generational trauma or what parts of our instincts are born from our ancestors. As I grow older I am forced to see the connections between how I think and how my parents think for instance. But bloodline is the most obvious of connections, my chosen family and I have similar mindsets as well. And I can’t help but think about what naturally flows through black people and why.

scarcity mindset is what we must break from to see the life outside of what we were told we can live.
